1. Introduction

DeployBuilds ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile build distribution platform that lets development teams upload, manage, and share iOS and Android builds securely via Google Drive. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We store these to identify you within the platform and display them in the UI.

Build & App Data

When you upload builds (.apk or .ipa files), the build files are stored directly in your own Google Drive. We store metadata about each build (app name, version, bundle ID, build notes, timestamps) in our database to power the dashboard and download pages.

Google Drive Access

We request permission to create and manage files in a dedicated "DeployBuilds" folder within your Google Drive. We do not access, read, or modify any other files in your Drive.

Server & Log Data

We collect standard server and error logs (which may include IP addresses and request metadata) to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the platform. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Payment Information

If you purchase credits, payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We store order and payment identifiers and credit balances in our database. We do not store full card or bank details on our servers.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect Slack, we store your Slack workspace ID and channel ID to deliver build notifications. We do not access your Slack messages or other workspace data. If you use AI-assisted release notes, the release-note text you provide is sent to Groq for processing.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and manage your account.
  • To upload, organize, and serve your build files through Google Drive.
  • To generate public or team-only install links and QR codes for build distribution.
  • To send build notifications via Slack when configured.
  • To display your build history and release notes on the dashboard.
  • To process credit purchases and maintain your account balance.
  • To improve, maintain, and secure the DeployBuilds platform.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your build files remain in your own Google Drive, DeployBuilds never stores binary build files on our servers. Build metadata and account data are stored in secure, encrypted databases. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.

API keys generated within DeployBuilds are hashed before storage, once created, the full key value cannot be retrieved from our systems.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with:

  • Google APIs: to manage your Drive files and authenticate via OAuth.
  • Slack APIs: to deliver notifications if you choose to connect Slack.
  • Razorpay: to process credit purchases when you choose to pay.
  • Groq: to generate AI-assisted release notes when you use that feature.
  • Service providers: hosting and infrastructure partners who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of DeployBuilds and its users.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Export: You can view your data anytime in the Dashboard. Your build files live in your Google Drive, which you fully control.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual builds from the dashboard. To delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at the email below.
  • Revoke Google Access: You can revoke DeployBuilds's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions.
  • Uploader Privacy: You can toggle the "Show uploader info" setting to control whether your name appears on download pages.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

DeployBuilds uses localStorage to persist your authentication token and theme preference. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising scripts.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
